The Garden Room at the Saxon Manor Event Venue was dressed to impress in celebration of a marriage covenant last Sunday evening.  The huge round tables wore crisp white linen draped with satin overlay in muted sage by Dorothea. Silver chargers, and striking centerpieces accessorized the tables exquisitely.  The overhead draping, exposed beams, and twinkling lights surround beautiful chandeliers throughout the room and lend to its romance.  Before sunset, the view from within the Garden Room is breathtaking, including the historic manor and mature flora. As the sun sets, oak trees and crape myrtles glisten with string lighting setting the mood for dancing on the patio.  A magical Brooksville wedding at Saxon Manor!

Happily Ever After Begins Here!

Saturday at sunset upon the quiet hilltop of Saxon Manor, a beautiful bride and her groom joined their hearts in matrimony. The ceremony took place on the lush lawn under great grandfather oaks.  Marriage marks the beginning of a new chapter, the opening of a new door in life.  With this significance, beautiful, hand carved doors were hung at the opening of the isle.  Daddy held the arm of his little girl as they crossed the threshold and made their way to the awaiting groom.  The following reception was held in the Garden Room on site where round tables were dressed to the nines by Dorothea in turquoise linen with lace overlays.  Table runners and chair sashes in burlap along with matching mason jars and natural wood slices set an ambiance of rustic elegance.  Cheery sunflower centerpieces were arranged perfectly by Connie and added a pop of yellow contrast to the pretty tables.  An intimate celebration hosting sixty guests included a DJ and dancing inside the Garden Room and bar service from the patio gazebo.  The picture perfect wedding was enjoyed by all and caught on camera by fabulous photographer, Deanna Meredith.

Saxon Manor's Felice Wedding

Beautiful bride, Chantel Canaday took her final walk as a single woman across the lush lawn of the Saxon Manor on the arm of her dad.  Her groom, Ryan Felice awaited her under the spanish moss draped majestic oaks.  The vows were taken aside the beautiful spring gardens with the historic manor as the backdrop.  Following the ceremony, the guests meandered to the Garden Room patio where DJ Ricky Mondelli started the celebration while the bartending duo from Mix It Up served wine and beer from the adjacent gazebo bar.  The reception took place in the lovely Garden Room which affords a panoramic view of the splendid manor and lush gardens.  The tables were set with bright, cheery, spring colors while centerpieces boasted colorful tulips and lillies.  Buffet dinner was prepared on site and included bar-b-que chicken and pork along with all the fixings.  The Felice wedding was charming and romantic and the guests had a great time.

A Little Piece of Heaven at Saxon Manor

Tucked beneath the hammock of grandfather oaks, upon a lush green lawn, the historic Saxon House stands on a hilltop.  Just up the road from Brooksville's town square, surrounded by red brick backroads, there lies a little piece of heaven at Saxon Manor. A century old Victorian home that sat empty for years has never lacked the attention of admirers.  Dorothea, perhaps the biggest admirer, rescued the home when she purchased it in 2011.
